Prior to joining Branch Austin McCormick, Gorkem was a partner of a Legal 500 ranked family law department in Central London. Gorkem has a wealth of experience in dealing with financial matters, advising clients with modest assets to high-net-worth individuals with more complex cases involving international dimensions, trusts, and businesses. He also regularly advises clients on private law children matters, such as contact disputes, specific issue applications and applications for relocation to move from and within England and Wales.

Gorkem takes a very direct, personable approach to his clients and gives them realistic solutions and sound advice. He is committed to resolving matters in a proactive manner that is fair and cost-effective.

Gorkem is a member of Resolution which promotes a constructive and non-confrontational approach to resolving family law disputes. Nevertheless, he can be a sharp and vigorous negotiator when necessary.
