Steven Gardner Consultant - Commercial and Residential Property

In commercial property transactions, his experience covers the acquisition, letting and sale of Headquarters Buildings for international companies/banks and overseas governments. Steven has undertaken institutional work involving the acquisition and disposal of substantial property
portfolios, letting and disposal of regional shopping centres, retail parks, distribution centres, industrial and warehouse premises and hotels. His work also covers land acquisitions, lettings and disposals for national and local commercial property developers and housebuilders. In addition, Steven has completed numerous commercial property lettings on behalf of landlords and tenants covering a wide range of properties in central London and elsewhere.

In residential property transactions. Purchase, leases and sales of all types of residential property across the board from individual houses and flats in prime, central and outer London, out of town and country locations nationally and lease extension work under the Leasehold Reform legislation.

Steven qualified as a solicitor in 1970 and joined the firm in January 2016, having been a founder member of Gardner Austin LLP in 2007 and before that, a founding partner of Gardner Weller & Co in 1979.

Out of the office, Steven enjoys classic and historic motor sport events and holds a UK Motor Sports competition licence. He likes to take part in various historic car events especially in Europe (Covid permitting). He has been a keen windsurfer and has travelled to many parts of the globe in pursuit of the sport, (a spell in Hawaii being top of the list!), but now likes to confine this to the warmer waters of the Med, Red Sea and Caribbean with his family when time permits.
