Tatyana acts for domestic and international corporate entities and high net worth individuals in disputes concerning fraud, breach of contract, misrepresentation and breach of trust. She has advised clients in High Court litigation and in arbitrations under the rules of world-renowned arbitration institutions, including the LCIA and ICC. As a result of her 16 plus years of experience, Tatyana has wide-ranging expertise across multiple sectors, such as banking, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, fintech, entertainment and financial sanctions risk, compliance and enforcement. Having also acted as in-house Counsel for a listed energy company and a family office, Tatyana possesses strong commercial acumen and has had the invaluable experience of seeing matters from her clients’ perspective.
Tatyana’s practice includes:
- Representing minority shareholders’ interests, including acting for a high net worth individual and trust in an unfair prejudice petition involving a multi-billion pound global theatre and film production and acting for a minority shareholder in an unfair prejudice petition involving assets in Montenegro;
- Acting for multinational corporations and listed entities in LCIA arbitrations arising out of breach of contract and indemnity claims, as well as claims relating to fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duties;
- Advising in relation to regulatory matters and investigations, including sanctions risk and compliance.
Tatyana trained and worked for most of her career in the Dispute Resolution department of a US-headquartered international City law firm and is a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience.
Tatyana obtained her Law Degree in 2006 (First Class Honours).
Out of the office, Tatyana is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law and enjoys her busy family life, painting and gardening.
