Prior to joining BAM, Maria completed her training contract and gained over two years’ experience in the dispute resolution department at a reputable West London law firm. She obtained her LLB and Master’s degree from the University of Sussex before completing the LPC at BPP University. 

Maria has now joined BAM’s dispute resolution department, assisting on a broad range of contentious matters. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and travelling.

  • She also has regular experience of interim and enforcement applications, including freezing injunctions, disclosure applications, asset tracing, third-party debt orders and other enforcement mechanisms.

Maria has worked on high-value commercial disputes, including claims in excess of £5 million, claims involving multiple related proceedings and complex factual and legal issues. She has experience in financial remedy matters and proceedings involving child arrangements and regularly liaises with counsel and experts, including drafting detailed instructions and coordinating
She speaks fluent Armenian, Greek and Russian.
