The Innovator Founder Visa is for individuals who want to establish and run an innovative business in the United Kingdom.
The business idea must be new and original, although it does not necessarily need to be inventive. It is important that you have either developed the ideas set out in the business plan yourself or made a significant contribution to them as a key member of the founding team.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate access to sufficient funds to establish their business. While there is technically no minimum investment requirement, the level of funding must be realistic and sufficient to show that the business plan is viable. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
